What is Swing Bed Care?
Swing Bed (a hospital service providing skilled nursing care between acute hospital stay and home care) is a Medicare approved program—all within the same facility.
If you no longer need intensive hospital services but are not yet ready to go home, swingbed care provides a supportive, healing environment where you can continue your recovery.
This service is especially valuable for patients who require additional physical, occupational, or speech therapy after surgery, illness, or a hospital stay.
